Blake Kuwahara
Named by Buzz magazine as one of the “100 Coolest People in Los Angeles”, Blake Kuwahara is recognized as a talented eyewear designer who created his own company that provides unique frames that consist of two separate shapes of a different color. Each pair of glasses is hand-assembled in Japan from richly colored acetate. Trying to find suitable eyewear, Kuwahara designed a prototype for himself and wore it during dinner with his friend. Unexpectedly, the friend noticed his glasses and said he was looking for stylish but understated eyewear, just like the pair Kuwahara was wearing. Blake was inspired by that conversation, and that pushed him to launch his own signature label.
Blake Kuwahara offers collections of artful frames individually crafted by the best artisans with special attention paid to tactility and sculpting.
