Meet the Second Installment of Barton Perreira and FEAR OF GOD Optical Collaboration
The two LA brands, the iconic eyewear label Barton Perreira and luxury fashion house FEAR OF GOD, team up again to create a refined optical collection called The Extension of 7th Energy: FGBP.2021. Driven by a passionate commitment to artistry and fine craftsmanship, the designers created modern eyeglasses that also feel like perfect vintage shades. The selection includes only one limited-edition silhouette offered in natural earth tone hues, the calling card of the FEAR OF GOD brand.
First presented in 2020, the sought-after optical style was offered in five different earthy hues developed exclusively for this frame. The design of the glasses was inspired by the ‘Woody’ and ‘Joe’ frames by Barton Perreira, which Jerry Lorenzo (the founder of the FEAR OF GOD) wore in his everyday design process. Each pair from the FGBP.2020 collaboration features an ideal mix of glossy and matte acetate and light gradient lenses, which makes them suitable for both optical and sun wear.

The new FGBP.2021 frame comes available in Matte Taupe and Matte Sand, staying true to Fear of God’s signature natural earth tone hues and palettes seen throughout their 2021 Seventh Collection. The classic rectangular acetate unisex frame features light gradient wash lenses and comes available as an optical frame in two fits. The limited-edition style also includes collectible Barton Perreira x Fear of God packaging.
